Because of the nature of the post in question, applicants are not entitled to withhold information about previous convictions, which for the purposes are ‘spent’ under the provisions of the above mentioned Acts. I understand that the consumption of alcohol is not permitted at any of the centres. I may consume alcohol when off duty and not at the course centre, though I must be fit to supervise students on my return.

All our centres operate as non-smoking environments, although smoking may be permitted at certain times in designated smoking areas away from buildings.
