Its
setting – along a private road in an
exclusive residential area – is as splendid
as any in Greater London. And though its
campus is relatively compact, it easily
accommodates all your needs. |

On the banks of the Thames
Less than 15 minutes’ walk from Marymount is the
town of Kingston-upon-Thames which, as its name suggests, has the river running through it. Here, you’ll find all you could ask for in the way of shops
and entertainment. In the neighbouring borough of Richmond, you can roam London’s largest royal park. In nearby Hampton Court, explore one of the
most famous royal palaces. Our weekly, half-day excursions into central London are a 30 minute coach ride. The two main airports - Heathrow and
Gatwick - are no more than 40 minutes away.
Rooms with a view
Most of the bedrooms look out over the trees and the seven acres of lawns and gardens. There are singles and twin rooms for older students; twin
rooms and triples for younger ones. All are fully carpeted and attractively furnished with plenty of lockable drawer space. Four student lounges
encourage you to relax and socialise. The dining room serves meals that are second to none.
Never a dull moment
After your scheduled language classes, you’ll find plenty to occupy your leisure time. The modern, multi-purpose sports hall caters for a wide variety of indoor sports including basketball, volleyball and badminton. Outdoors, you can enjoy five-a-side soccer, tennis and softball. The art studio invites you to take up painting, pottery and photography. The spacious auditorium stages all sorts of entertainments – including discos, karaoke and talent shows. Local clubs give you access to golf, horse-riding (in Richmond Park) and swimming.
